il Vaso is a piece of art, it is inspired by the Murano Rostrato technique which is characterised by extruding small, pointed, spike like protrusions from the glass surface while it’s still hot. Popularized by Ercole Barovier of Barovier & Toso in the 1930s, the technique is known for creating a highly textured, dimensional effect that beautifully refracts light.
Our Vaso is made entirely by hand by Master glassblowers which means no 2 pieces are the same.
